Sojourn Church
Delighting in God
and helping others to do the same
A bilingual community
Walking together in faith
What shapes us
A people growing together in grace
God-Centered
We do everything for the glory of God. We exist for His pleasure and His glory, and every decision we make and step we take as a church is measured first by this question: does this please God?
Word-Driven
Sermon
We take our cues from the Bible, not from convenience or culture. We are not free to do church however we'd like. From our services to our outreach to our structure to our programs, we want the Bible's prescriptions, principles, and patterns to shape our life together.

On Mission
We take Jesus' final commands with the utmost seriousness. We are not chasing transfer growth. We want to see the overlooked and underreached come to know and enjoy Christ. That is, in part, why we are pursuing our Latino neighbors - because so few others in our community are.
Supernatural Community
We want to embody the compelling community described in Ephesians 2-3, pictured in Acts 2, and prayed for in John 17. Community exists everywhere, but it is nearly always built on commonality. We want to display the power of the gospel by being a community of diverse people united by a common love for Christ.
Desperately Dependent
We want to be a people of prayer. Apart from Christ, we can do nothing. You will find us praying — in our services, our meetings, our homes — over and over again, because we truly believe we cannot do this. God must do it. He alone saves sinners. He alone builds His church.
Made Holy by Grace
We want to be a holy people who walk the walk, not merely who talk the talk. We hold one another accountable, as we believe that those who are truly saved have been truly changed. There is a holiness without which no one will see the Lord.
Conspicuously Joyful
We want our joy in Christ to be obvious — in the way we sing, preach, pray, read, and in the way we fellowship with one another. We have had our sins washed away and have been promised forever with God. We have every reason to be joyful, and we intend to show it.
Journeying Homeward
We want to cultivate a sojourner's mindset. This is not our home, and this is not our kingdom. We are not living for today but for tomorrow, storing up treasures not on earth, where moth and rust destroy, but in the hope that one day we will be raised from the dead and finally brought home to dwell with our God, our Lord, and our friend, forevermore.
